1.Whenusingsheets,loadtwounusedsheetsA4/Letter-sizedorlarger.

2.PresstheMenubuttontodisplayMAINMENU.
3.Press▲or▼toselectAdjustPrinter,andthenpressthe►button.
4.Press▲or▼toselectManualBandAdj,andthenpressthe►button.
5.Press▲or▼toselectYes,andthenpresstheOKbutton.
TestpatternAisprintedforbandadjustment.
6.ExaminetestpatternAforbandadjustment.Afteryoudeterminethepatterninwhichstreaksare
leastnoticeable,press▲or▼tochoosethepatternnumber,andthenpresstheOKbutton.

•Ifstreaksseemleastnoticeableintwopatternsbutyoucannotdecidewhichoneisbetter,choosean
intermediatevalue.Forexample,choose11ifyoucannotdecidewhetherpattern10or12isbetter.
7.ExaminetestpatternBforbandadjustment.Afteryoudeterminethepatterninwhichstreaksare
leastnoticeable,press▲or▼tochoosethepatternnumber,andthenpresstheOKbutton.
Thefeedamountisadjusted,andtheprintergoesonline.
Ifprinteddocumentsarestillaffectedbyunevencontrastorbandingindifferentcolorsatregular
intervalsafterthisadjustment,youcanadjustthefeedamountduringprinting.(→P.594)
