•Thepapertypesettingintheprinterdriverandrelatedsoftware(aswellasontheControlPanel)is

updatedwhenyouinstalltheMediaCongurationToolfromtheUserSoftwareCD-ROMorifyouchange

paperinformationbyusingtheMediaCongurationTool.ForinformationabouttheMediaConguration

Tool,seetheMediaCongurationToolGuide(Windows)orMediaCongurationToolGuide(Macintosh).

•AnerrormessageisdisplayedontheprinterControlPanelifthepapertypeasspeciedintheprinter

driverdoesnotmatchthetypespeciedontheprinter.Althoughyoucanprintundertheseconditions,

theprintingresultsmaynotbesuitable.

Ifthepapertypeisnotlistedforselection

Ifthetypeofpaperloadedcannotbeselected,tryspecifyingglossypaperorproongpaperasaspecial

paper(Special1toSpecial5,inthisorder).BK(BlackInk)isusedastheblackink.Tryspecifyingother

typesofpaperasSpecial6toSpecial10.MBK(MatteBlackInk)isusedastheblackink.Notethathigher

numbersinthissettingenablemorevividcolorsbutmayalsocausecolorstoruntogether.
