The following messages may appear on the LCD monitor (or
viewfinder) during shooting or playback. Please refer to the Direct
Print User Guide for the messages that display during a printer
connection.
Image is being recordedto, or readfrom, memory card.
The playback mode is starting up.
Resetting all the camera and menu setUngstodefault.
Youturnedonthecamerawithouta memorycardinstalled.
The SD card is write-protected. (p. 133)
Youattempted to shoot an image without a memorycard installed.
Memory cardhas experienced an anomaly, l--
Memory cardis full of images and no more can be recorded or saved. Or nomore
image set_ngs can berecorded, Or no more sound memos andsound recorder can be
recorded.
The image could not becreated because thereis an image with the same name as lhe
folder that the camera is attempting to create, or the highest possible file number has
already been reached. Inthe Set up Menu, set the File Numbering op_on to [Auto
Reset]. Save allthe images you wish to retain ontoa computer,then reformat the
memory card(p. 35). Please note that formattingwill erase all the existing images and
other data.
Battery charge is insufficient to operate the camera. Replaceall 4 batteries immediately
with unusedAA-size alkaline batteries or fully charged CanonAA-size NiMH batteries.
No images recorded on memorycard.
