Certain AV equipment (e.g., high-end televisions and
VCRs) include an S-Video input port. In this situation, you
may use the included, or purchased, 4-pin S-Video sig-
nal cable in place of the yellow video cable. Using the S-
Video cable should provide superior picture quality.
The S-Video cable can be used instead of the yel-
low cable to output video data. However, while the
S-Video is in use, the yellow cable will still output
video data providing for dual outputs, if desired.
