Removing a memory card
It’s important to make sure that the computer is not busy before you eject your
memory card. If the computer is in the middle of writing information, for
example, you risk damaging the card and losing the photos on it.
Before removing your card:
1. Do not remove the card while your computer is asleep. First wake up your
computer and then remove the card.
2. Close any memory card files that you have open.
3. If you are using Windows 98SE, ME, 2000 or XP, right click on the removable
drive and select Eject. If you are using a Macintosh, eject or unmount your
memory card by dragging the card’s disk icon into the trash.
