AlphaSort
AlphaSort
lists in alphabetical order all the program titles in the current
guide. Select the
AlphaSort
button to search for specific program titles
that are in the current program guide. Use the arrow button to
highlight a character, then press MENU•SELECT.
For example, to search for the program,
Auto Racing,
the first letter you
should enter is “
A
”. (Words like “The”, “A” and “An” appear at the end
of a title.) All titles that begin with “
A
” appear in the
AlphaSort
list.
Next, enter the letter “
U
”. All titles beginning with “
AU
” appear in the
list.
AlphaSort searches for specific titles in the guide.
Continue entering the specific title’s letters until it appears in the
AlphaSort
list. If you enter the wrong letter, select either
Backspace
or
Clear All
.
Use the arrow buttons to highlight the title you are looking for. Press
the MENU•SELECT button to select it, the INFO button to see more
information, or the RECORD button to set up a timer recording. Only
titles that are in the current program guide can be found by
AlphaSort
.
