30. RETURN button– Returns to the previous opera-
tion.

ENTER button– Press to accept a setting.

Arrow buttons–
TV Mode:
Press to select a setting mode from the menu on
the TV screen.
Press to select or adjust from a particular menu.
DVD Mode:
Use when making settings while watching the dis-
play on a TV screen.

MENU button– Displays the DVD and TV menus.
34.
SELECT button– Press to change to TV mode,
external input mode or DVD mode.
35.
MUTE button– Press the MUTE button to turn off
the sound portion of the TV program. (Volume
level display turns LIGHT RED from LIGHT
BLUE.) Press the MUTE button again or press
the VOL(ume) K or L button to restore sound.

DVD button– Press to do DVD operations.
37.
Power cord– Connect to a standard AC outlet
(120V/60Hz).
NOTE: Remove the power cord from the hook to
avoid breaking a wire before you connect to a
standard AC outlet.

COAXIAL digital audio out jack– Connect to the
digital input of an external amplifier or decoder.

AUDIO L/R output jack– Connect to the analog
audio input of an external amplifier or decoder.

ANT. in jack– Connect to an antenna, cable sys-
tem, or satellite system.

SLEEP button– Press the SLEEP button to dis-
play the sleep timer and start the function. The
shut off time can be determined by the number of
times you press the button. (0, 10, 20, 30,..90, 0
minutes)

SKIP buttons– Skip chapters or tracks to a
desired point.

MODE button– Activates program playback or
random playback mode.
20.
SETUP button– Press to enter the setup mode or
to change setup items.

TITLE button– Displays the title menu.
22.
CLEAR button– Resets a setting.

DISPLAY button–
TV Mode:
Press to display the channel number on the
screen. If you press it again, the channel number
will disappear.
DVD Mode:
Displays the current status on the TV screen for
checking purposes.

SEARCH MODE button– Press to locate a
desired point.
25.
AUDIO button– Press to select a desired audio
language or sound mode.
26.
SUBTITLE button– Press to select a desired sub-
title language.
27.
REPEAT button– Repeats playback of the cur-
rent disc, title, chapter or track.
28.
ANGLE button– Press to change the camera
angle to see the sequence being played back from
a different angle.
29.
A-B REPEAT button– Repeats playback of a
selected section.
