ቯ ASPECT button
Press this button to quickly change the picture format aspect ratio (see page 24).
ተ SUBTITLE button
Press this button during playback to select a language for subtitle during DVD disc playback (if available). Press SUBTITLE repeat-
edly to select your desired subtitle language. The selected language will be displayed on the display bar at the top of the screen.
To turn off subtitles, press the button repeatedly until OFF appears.
ቱ DISC MENU button
Press this button to access the DVD disc main menu. Use THUMBSTICK to navigate and select features.
ቲ ADVANCED button
Press this button to access Advanced features menu.
Use THUMBSTICK to highlight chosen feature.
Press down on THUMBSTICK to select chosen feature.
NOTE: 1. Selecting AUDIO may not work on some DVDs with multiple audio languages (e.g. DVDs which allow audio language
setting on the disc menu).
2. Some discs allow audio language setting/subtitle language setting on the disc menu. (Operation varies between
discs, so refer to the manual accompanying the disc.)
3. If the desired language is not shown after pressing SUBTITLE several times, the disc does not have subtitles in that
language.
4. If you choose a Language that has a 3 letter language code, the code will be displayed every time you change the
Subtitle language setting. If you choose any other languages, ‘---’ will be displayed instead.

ታ ZOOM button
Press this button during playback to enlarge the video image and to pan through the enlarged image.
Press ZOOM during playback. Playback will continue. Press ZOOM repeatedly to select the required zoom factor: x2, x4, x8 or
OFF. Use THUMBSTICK ̆, ̄, ̇, ̈ to move the zoomed picture across the screen. To exit zoom mode, press ZOOM to OFF.
ቴ (PLAY) button
Press this button to start playback and the disc will start from the first chapter or track.
ት (PAUSE) button
Press this button during playback to pause the disc. To continue playback, press PLAY.
NOTES: 1. Zooming function does not work while disc menu is shown.
2. x8 zoom is not available on some discs.
NOTES: Do not leave the DVD disc in pause mode for long periods of time since it may cause “SCREEN BURNS” which are not
covered by your warranty.
