Accidental erasure prevention
To prevent accidental recording on a recorded
cassette, remove its record tab.To record on it
later, cover the hole with cellophane tape.

If you have connected the VCR/DVD to a cable box
or satellite box as the Connection A on page 7,
select the VCR to channel 3 or 4 (the RF output
channel of the VCR). Then, select the desired chan-
nel at the cable box or satellite box. Leave the cable
box or satellite box on for timer recording.
• You can program one
year in advance.

TIMER indicator lights up on the
front panel. (When you turn off the VCR/DVD,
will appear on the front panel display.) The
VCR/DVD will change to the DVD mode.Turn off
the unit when you do not use the DVD functions.
In some occasions, however, the VCR/DVD may
be automatically turned off, instead of changing to
the DVD mode after pressing
SUBTITLE/TIMER.

TIMER
1) Press SUBTITLE/TIMER then, VCR
on the remote control.
2) Press MENU.

Press Cursor K or L to select “TIMER
PROGRAMMING”.Then, press Cursor B.
4) Press Cursor K or L to select the pro-
gram number which you want to check.
The details of the program you select-
ed will appear on the TV screen.
•
Press Cursor B or s to go the digit
you want to change.Then, enter correct
numbers by pressing Cursor K or L.
•
You may cancel the entire program by pressing
Cursor s while the program number flashes.
5) Press the CLEAR/C.RESET to exit.
6) Press the SUBTITLE/TIMER to return
to timer stand-by mode.
