Hi-Fi Audio Recording Level
Control
Your VCR allows manual adjustment of the Hi-Fi audio
recording level. Normally the preset audio recording level is
satisfactory, but if the sound you are going to record is too loud
or too low, adjust the audio recording level while referring to
the VCR's audio level meters.

ADJUST AUDIO RECORDING
LEVEL

Press FF or REW.
Press FF or REW briefly 5 times to move the on-
screen's audio levels by one division on the scale. To
move the audio levels faster, keep FF or REW presssed.
Adjust the recording level while watching the VCR's
audio level meters. Set the level so that maximum
volume causes the meters to vary between 0dB to 4dB.
RETURN TO NORMAL SCREEN

NOTE:
Noise will increase if the recording level is too low, while
distortion will increase if the level is too high.
