Programming
If you do not know the PlusCode number for the programme that you wish to
record, follow the instructions below to manually set your VCR to record.
Get to the Programme Screen
Press p then press START +/–.
Enter Programme Details
START
DEBUT
set start time Use the START +/– button to
enter the start time.
STOP
FIN
set stop time Use the STOP +/– button to
enter the stop time.
DATE
set date Use the DATE +/– button to adjust
the date (current date will automatically
appear).
PR
set programme Use the PR +/– button to
enter the programme required.
set tape speed You can change the tape speed between Standard Play (SP)
and Long Play (LP) by pressing /.
set pdc mode Press PDC (number key 7) to change between ON and OFF.
Programme Delivery Control (
PDC) is a service designed to ensure that timer
recording still works in the event of a change in time of broadcast. If you set
PDC
to ON, your VCR will be turned on not by its own timer but by a signal
transmitted by the broadcaster. This means that if an advertised programme is
delayed, your VCR will still record it properly.
