(RF03 or RF04).

S-Video connection
Connect the S-VIDEO OUT jack on the Recorder to
the S-Video in jack on the TV using an optional
S-Video cable (S).
Component Video / Progressive Scan
connection
If your television is a high-definition or “digital ready”
television, you may take advantage of the Recorder’s
progressive scan output for higher video resolution.
Connect the COMPONENT/PROGRESSIVE SCAN
VIDEO OUT jacks on the Recorder to the correspon-
ding in jacks on the TV using an optional Y Pb Pr
cable (C).
Notes:
• Set the resolution to 480p using OUTPUT STATUS
button for progressive signal.
• Progressive Scan does not work with the RF,
Audio/Video or S-Video connections.
• If your TV does not accept the Progressive Scan format,
the picture will appear scrambled.
• If the resolution is set to 720p or 1080i, the VIDEO OUT,
S-VIDEO OUT and COMPONENT VIDEO OUT connec-
tions are not available.
• The TV aspect ratio is different in resolution setting.
“16:9” for 720p/1080i resolution and “4:3” for 480p/480i
resolution.
Audio connection
Connect the Left and Right AUDIO OUT jacks on the
Recorder to the audio left/right in jacks on the TV
