The select mode changes in the following
order each time the button is pressed.
Display Setting

"FLD SEL1" Folder select 1 mode
"FLD SEL2" Folder select 2 mode

and <Folder select 2> (page 31).
• During <Scan play> (page 28) or <Random play> (page
29), you cannot select the file select mode.
For details on how to use the select mode, refer to
<Audio files> (page 58).
Titles can be scrolled even in the select mode. For further
information, refer to <Title/Text scroll> (page 29).
File select
Selects a file from a folder being played according
to a specified file number.

Set to the file select mode
The name of the first file in the folder is
displayed.
For details on how to select the mode, refer to
<Select mode> (page 30).

You can select a desired audio file or video file/picture by specifying a file number or folder name. Unlike
the disc search and folder search, the file to be played will not change until the file/the folder is confirmed.
In select mode, audio files, video files, and picture files can only be operated during playback.
