canbecanceledbytheTurnOnScreenSave,SetScreenSaveBlank,
andSet
ScreenSaveWalkcommands.
Enable Character Blink
Format: 1B 0D
Description: Theblinkattributeistheonlymodifierwhichis
supportedforthedisplaycharacterpositions.Eachtimeanew
characterisreceived,thecurrentsettingofthecharacterblink
operatorisadoptedastheworkingattributeforthenewcharacter.
Ifanewcharacterisreceivedwhilecharacter
blinkisenabled,the
newcharacterblinks.Thismakesitpossibletohaveadisplaywith
bothblinkingandnon‐blinkingcharacters.FortheVFD,theblink
periodis1secondonand1secondoff.FortheLCD,theblink
periodis.5secondonand.5secondoff.
Allcharactersthatare
blinkenabledblinkatthesametime.Theonlywaytocausean
existingcharactertostartorstopblinkingistosetupthecharacter
blinkoperator,movethecursortothecorrectcharacter, andresend
theindividualcharactercode.
