Relay
Receivers can be confi gured to relay transmitter commands to an-
other receiver, increasing transmitter range and allowing signals to
be transmitted around obstacles.

Confi gure the relay.
On the unit that will act as the relay, slide the
Tx/Rx/OFF switch to Rx. Press the MENU button
to display the menus, then highlight SPECIAL
and press 2. Highlight RLY and press z to
confi gure the unit to act as a relay.

Confi gure the remaining units.
Slide the Tx/Rx/OFF switch on one of the re-
maining units to Tx to confi gure it as a trans-
mitter, and the switch on the other unit to Rx
to confi gure it as a receiver.

Take photographs.
Position the units. When the shutter-release button on the trans-
mitter is pressed all the way down, the relay unit will pass the sig-
nal to the receiver, and the receiver will release the shutter on the
camera to which it is connected.
