Basic Connections
● Please refer to the instruction books of
your TV, VCR, Stereo or other devices as
necessary to make the best connections.
The following guidelines are options for
the best picture and sound quality
available on your DVD player.
Picture
* Use CVBS Video Output for good
picture quality.
** Use SCART Output for best picture
quality.
Sound
1 Digital audio connections provide the
clearest sound with a digital amplifier or
receiver. Connect the DVD player’s
COAXIAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT to
your amplifier or receiver.
2 If the digital connection is not possible,
use the audio cables (white/red) to
connect AUDIO IN (L/R) jacks to your
amplifier, receiver, stereo or TV.
Warning!
– Never make or change
connections with the power
switched on.
– Connect the DVD Player directly
to the TV.
– Do not connect the DVD player
AUDIO OUT to the PHONO IN of
your amplifier or receiver.
Connecting TV
IMPORTANT!
– You only need to make
one video
connection from the following
options, depending on the
capabilities of your TV system.
– SCART connection will let you
use the features of both the Audio
and Video in the DVD Player.

Using SCART jack
● Use the SCART cable (black) to connect
the DVD Player’s SCART jack (TV OUT)
to the connector (TV IN) on the TV
(cable supplied).
Helpful Hint:
– Ensure that the “TV” indication on
SCART cable is connected to the TV
set and “DVD” indication on SCART
cable is connected to the DVD Player.
