4�4 Use teletext
Most TV channels broadcast information via
teletext.
Press 1. TELETEXT on the remote control.
The main index page appears.
To select a page with the remote control: 2.
• Enterthepagenumberwiththenumber
keys.
• PressP +/- or Î/ï to view the
next or the previous page.
• Pressacolourkeytoselectoneofthe
colour coded items at the bottom of the
screen.
Tip
Press to return to the previously
viewed page.
Press 3. TELETEXT again to switch off
teletext.
Note (for UK users only)
Some digital TV channels offer dedicated
digital text services (for example,
BBC1).

4�5 Use Ambilight
Ambilight is an innovative Philips feature that
adds reactive ambient lighting to your viewing
experience.
Press 1. AMBILIGHT on the remote
control. Ambilight turns on.
Press 2. AMBILIGHT again to turn off
Ambilight.
4�5�1 Change Ambilight mode
With Ambilight turned on, press 1. MODE
on the remote control. An Ambilight Mode
screen appears.
Press 2. MODE or Î, ï to select one of the
following Ambilight modes:
Colour•
Sets Ambilight to a constant colour.
Relaxed•
Sets Ambilight to change soft and smoothly
in synch with the images on-screen.
Moderate•
Sets Ambilight between Relaxed and
Dynamic modes.
Dynamic•
Sets Ambilight to change quickly and
responsively with the images on-screen.
Press 3. OK to activate the Ambilight mode.
