Tuner
Tuning to radio stations
1 Press STANDBY-ONB (or B on the
remote) to switch on the last selected source.
2 Press repeatedly SOURCE (or TUNER on
the remote) until FM or MW is displayed.
3 Press and hold TUNING3 / 4 or TU +/- à /
á on the remote until the frequency in the
display starts changing.
Display shows SEARC during automatic
tuning.
After the system tunes to a station of
sufficient reception, display shows its frequency .
To tune to a weak station, press briefly and
repeatedly TUNING3 / 4 or TU +/- à / á
on the remote until an optimal reception is
found.
4 Repeat Step 3 if necessary until you find the
desired radio station.
Storing preset radio stations
You can preset up to 40 stations (20 in each
band) regardless of the reception.
Manual programmng
1 Tune to your desired radio station (refer to
“Tuning to radio stations”).
2 Press PROG on the remote.
PROG” icon flashes.
3 Press PRESET3/4 or CH +/- (¡ / ) on the
remote to select the desired preset number.
4 Press PROG on the remote again to store the
radio station.
PROGdisappears on the display.
Repeat steps 1-4 to store other radio stations.
Helpful hints:
–You can erase a preset station by storing
another frequency in its place.
Autostore: automatic programming
Autostore automatically starts programming
radio stations from preset 1. Any previous
presets e.g. manually programmed will be erased.
In tuner mode (FM or AM), press and hold
PROG until AUTO appears.
During automatic programming, display shows
AUTO and flashing PROG.
Available stations are programmed (20FM or
20 AM).
After all stations are stored, the first autostore
preset station automatically plays.
Listening to preset radio stations
In tuner mode, press PRESET3/4 or CH +/-
(¡ / ) on the remote to select the desired
preset number.
The preset number, radio frequency, and
waveband are displayed.
