Control Menu display
Use the Control Menu to select a function and to view related information. Press DISPLAY
repeatedly to turn on or change the Control Menu display as follows:
The Control Menu display 1 and 2 will show different items depending on the media type.
Example: Control Menu display 1 when playing a DVD VIDEO.
Press X/x to select the Control Menu item, then press ENTER.
For details about the item, see “List of Control Menu items” (page 21, 22).

Displays the album number for video, photo, and
music files, scene number for VIDEO CDs (PBC
is on), and track number for VIDEO CDs/CDs.

Displays the video, photo, music files numbers,
and index numbers for VIDEO CDs.

Displays Super VCD as “SVCD.”

Displays the date for photo files.
