Using the “Memory Stick” Slide Show
“Slide Show” allows you to watch a slideshow of the images on the “Memory Stick.”
To Start the Slide Show
When you set “Advan. Slds.” to “Auto”
The images change automatically. When a moving image file is selected, it plays back
automatically, and after playback the next image is displayed automatically.
“Movie Player” is not displayed when you set Advan. Slds. to Auto.
When you set “Advan. Slds.” to “Manual”
Press or to slide the images.
: Displays the next image.
: Displays the previous image.
When you display a still image on the full screen, you can slide the images in the same way as
described above.
When a moving image file is selected
The moving image does not playback and “Movie Player” is displayed. For more details about
using “Movie Player,” refer to “Playing back the moving image (Movie Player)” on page 54.
Press to display the next image.
To stop the Slide Show
If you want to the stop Slide Show, do the following to return to Memory Stick Home.
When you set “Advan. Slds.” to “Auto”
Press OK.
When you set “Advan. Slds.” to “Manual”
Press OK to display the index menu, then press or to select Return.
1 Insert a “Memory Stick” that contains the images you want to view.
2 Press “Memory Stick.
The Memory Stick Home appears on the screen.
3 Press or to highlight Select Folder, then press OK.
The Select Folder menu appears.
4 Press to select the list of contents, and press or to select a folder that you want to
view. Then press OK.
An index of thumbnail images of selected folder appears.
5 Press or to highlight Slide Show, then press OK.
The index menu of Slide Show appears. You can select any of the following options. Press
or to select the options, and press OK.
Advan. Slds.: Sets the slide show to automatic or manual advance.
Interval: Selects the period for which one image is displayed from 5sec, 10sec, 30sec,
1min, 5min, or 10min. The time is about right. When Advan. Slds. is set to
Manual, the interval option is not variable.
6 Press or to select Start, and press OK.
