Troubleshooting
Self-diagnosis function
This TV is equipped with a self-diagnosis function. If there is a problem with your TV, the (Power/Standby) indicator will flash
in red repeatedly. Writing down the duration of flashes and interval between flashes helps you inform your dealer or Sony service
centre of the TV’s condition.
1 Measure how long the (Power/Standby) indicator flashes and stops flashing.
For example, the indicator flashes for two seconds, stops flashing for one second, and flashes for two seconds.
2 Press the (Power) switch on the TV to switch it off, disconnect the mains lead, and inform your dealer or Sony service
centre of how the indicator flashes (duration and interval).
