When the manual timer setting and the GUIDE Plus+ timer setting
overlap
When the manual timer setting and the GUIDE Plus+ timer setting
(including VCR Plus+ recording) overlap, the GUIDE Plus+ timer setting has
priority. If you want to make more than one timer setting at one time, we
recommend that you use the same timer setting method at that time for all
timer settings, either the GUIDE Plus+ timer or the manual timer setting.

Recording TV programs using VCR Plus+
You can set a future program which isn’t on the GUIDE Plus+ list yet by
using the PlusCode feature of VCR Plus+. For details about VCR Plus+, see
“How VCR Plus+ works” on page 12.
1 Press VCR Plus+.
The Enter Pluscode screen appears.
2 Press the number buttons to enter the program’s PlusCode.
If you make a mistake, press VCR Plus+ twice and re-enter the correct
number.
3 Press the cursor stick (OK).
The selected program is added to the list, and VCR is set to record this
program in EP mode. Insert a tape with its safety tab in place and turn
off the VCR before recording starts.
Tip
• You can cancel the VCR Plus+ timer settings, change the recording pattern (Once,
Daily, or Weekly), and change the tape speed by using the Schedule menu (page 71).
Note
• You cannot operate the Schedule menu while the Enter Pluscode screen is displayed
on the TV screen. To close the Enter Pluscode screen, press VCR Plus+ button.
