Chapter 6: Using the TV’s advanced features
Using the Color Management Pro feature
The new Color Management Pro feature allows you to adjust
standard colors as well as create 3 custom user colors.
The menu will consist of 3 items:
Color management, color palette adjustment, and reset.
To turn on Color Management Pro:
1 Press Y and open the Video menu.
2 Highlight Color Management Pro and press T.
3 In the Color Management field, select On.
Note: If you select one of the factory-set picture modes
(Sports, Standard, or Movie) and then change the Color
Management setting, the picture mode automatically changes
to Preference.
To turn off Color Management Pro:
Select Off in Step 3 above.
Using the Color Palette Adjustment
When the color palette adjustment is selected, the list of base
colors and user colors will be displayed. You can select a base
color to adjust or choose to create a user color.
Note: To use Color Palette Adjustment, Color Management
must be set to On.
To adjust the Base Colors:
1 From the Color Management Pro menu, highlight
Color Palette Adjustment and press T.
2 The Select Standard Color window will be displayed.
Press B or b to highlight the color you want to adjust, and
then press T.
3 The Color Adjustment window will be displayed.
Press B to freeze the picture.
To return to moving picture, press B again.
4 Press B or b to select either Hue, Saturation, or
Brightness, and then press C and c to adjust the setting.
Note: Press f to reset Hue, Saturation, and
Brightness to the factory settings for the selected color.
5 Press R to return to the previous menu.
6 Repeat steps 2 through 5 to adjust any other color.
To adjust the User Colors:
1 From the Color Management Pro menu, highlight
Color Palette Adjustment, and then press T.
2 The Select Standard Color window will be displayed.
Press B or b to highlight either User 1, User 2, or
User 3 mode, and then press T.
