Changing the connection during recording (MIDI IN PC IN)
You can change the I/O assignment of the computer’s input port and the UX256’s
input port. The left column shows the computer’s input ports (IN 1-8), and the top
column shows the UX256’s input ports (1-8). With the default settings, ports with the
same number are connected to each other. However, you can change this setting by
checking the check boxes.
If you check multiple check boxes vertically, a MIDI signal from one input port on the
UX256 is distributed to multiple input ports on the computer. If you check multiple
check boxes horizontally, MIDI signals from multiple input ports on the UX256 are
merged and transmitted to one input port on the computer.
