•WhenhandlingthePrinthead,alwaysholditbythegrips(a).Nevertouchthenozzles(b)ormetal
contacts(c).ThismaydamagethePrintheadandaffectprintingquality.
•Nevertouchtheinksupplysection(d).Thismaycauseprintingproblems.
•IfyouneedtoputaPrintheadsomewheretemporarilybeforeinstallation,donotkeepthenozzles
andmetalcontactsfacingdown.Ifthenozzlesormetalcontactsaredamaged,itmayaffectthe
printingquality.
7.WhilermlyholdingthePrintheadyouhaveremoved,useyourotherhandtoremovetheorange
ProtectivePart(a).Squeezethegrips(c)ofProtectivePart(b)andpullitdowntoremoveit.

•TheinsidesurfaceoftheProtectivePart(a)andProtectivePart(b)iscoatedwithinktoprotectthe
nozzles.Becarefulnottotouchthesesurfaceswhenremovingthecaps.
•ThePrintheadcontainsinktoprotectthenozzles.WerecommendremovingProtectivePart(b)as
youholditoverthePrintheadpackageorsafelyoutofthewaytoavoidspillinginkandstainingyour
clothesorthesurroundingarea.Ifinkaccidentallyspills,wipeofftheinkwithadrycloth.
•DonotreattachtheProtectivePartorprotectivematerial.Disposeofthesematerialsinaccordance
withlocalregulations.
