VGA(640x480)through1920x1080signalsatarefresh
rateof60Hz.Notethat1280x1024and1920x1080
signalsaresupportedonlyfordigitalcomputersignals.
Theresolutionof1920x1080issupportedatrefreshrates
of24,30,and60Hz.SeeAppendixBinthisbookfor
moreoncompatiblescreenresolutions.
Inmostcases,thecomputerwillselectthebestresolution
matchtodisplayontheTV.Youcanoverridethissettingif
youwish.Theinstructionsbelowareforsettingthereso-
lutiononmostpersonalcomputers.
1. InthePC’sStartmenu,selectSettings.
2. SelectControl Panel.
3. SelectDisplay.
4. ChoosetheSettingstab.
5. Changetheresolutiontothehighestresolutionwith
theaspectratiobestsuitedfortheimage.Seethe
tableonthenextpageshowingpossiblePCformats.
Dependingonyourcomputer’soperatingsystem,
adjusttheresolutionwitheither:
• theScreenareaslider.
• theScreenResolutionslider
NOTE: WhenevertheTVispoweredon,thelampisin
use,eveniftheTVscreenappearsdark.Asa
reminderthattheTVispoweredonandthattime
isbeingaddedtothelamp’selapsedhours,set
thecomputer’sscreensavertoapatternthatwill
displayafterseveralminutesofinactivity.






