• Chat groups to view the list of bookmarks to public
groups provided by the network operator or service
provider.
To start a chat session with a group, scroll to a group
and select
Options → Open or press . You can also
select
Options → Join group and enter a group ID.
Enter the screen name that you want to use in the
conversation.
When you start a group chat, press the
Options soft
key and select:

Send private msg. to send a private message to a
specific member of the chat group.

Send invitation to send your invitation to the
members of the chat group.

Leave chat group to leave the chat group.

Chat group to view information about the group. You
can view the members and group details and change
the group settings.

Record convers. to save the current conversation in
Notes.

Stop recording. to stop saving the conversation.

Options → New chat contact → Search from server to
search for other chat users or public groups on the
network.
If you select
Users, you can search for a user by
name, ID, phone number, or e-mail address.
If you select from the Chat groups list, you can search
for a group by a group member, group name, or topic.
