Setting the Recording Guard
With this feature, you can record voice data without any
interruption by setting Airplane mode. (See page 36 for Airplane
mode.)
1. From the voice recorder menu, highlight Record and press
(right softkey).
2. Highlight Recording Guard and press . (A message will
display.)
3. Press (left softkey) to continue.
4. Highlight On and press .
ᮣ
To deactivate this feature, select Off during step 4 above.
While Recording Guard is on, your phone’s standby screen will
display “Phone Off”.
Erasing Voice Recordings
To erase an individual voice recording:
1. From the voice recorder menu (see page 80), highlight Play or
Play:Speaker, and press .
2. Highlight Voice Data and press .
3. Highlight your desired voice recording and press
(right softkey).
4. Highlight Erase and press .
5. Highlight Yes and press .
To erase all voice recordings:
1. From the voice recorder menu (see page 80), highlight
Erase All and press .
2. Highlight Voice Data and .
3. Highlight Yes and press .

Voice Recording Options
To switch speakerphone mode:
1. From the voice recorder menu (see page 80), highlight Play or
Play:Speaker and press .
2. Highlight Voice Data and press .
3. Highlight your desired voice recording and press
(right softkey).
4. Highlight Speaker On or Speaker Off and press .
Tip: You can also switch the speakerphone mode by pressing
(left softkey) during step 3 above.
To edit the title:
1. From the voice recorder menu (see page 80), highlight Play or
Play:Speaker and press .
2. Highlight Voice Data and press .
3. Highlight your desired voice recording and press
(right softkey).
4. Highlight Edit Title and press .
5. Edit the title (up to 16 characters) and press (left softkey).
To set the audio quality:
1. Display the voice recorder menu (see page 80).
2. Highlight Record and press (right softkey).
3. Highlight Audio Quality or Mic Sensitivity and press .

Audio Quality to change the recording quality.

Mic Sensitivity to change the microphone sensitivity.
4. Highlight High or Low and press .
Note: When Audio Quality setting is High, the total recording time will be
reduced.
