To block or unblock TV ratings:
1 Open the PARENTAL LOCK menu (see “To turn the parental lock on or off:” on page 34).
2 Press CH + or CH – to select PARENTAL GUIDE, then press VOL+. The RATING screen
opens.
3 Press CH + or CH – to select a TV rating, then press VOL+ or VOL– to block or unblock
the rating. Some ratings have sub-ratings that you can block as well. A check mark
indicates that a rating or sub-rating is blocked.
Main TV ratings include:
• TV-Y—All children
• TV-Y7—7 years old and above
• TV-G—General audience
• TV-PG—Parental guidance suggested
• TV-14—Parental guidance strongly suggested for children under 14
• TV-MA—Mature audiences only
