SERVICE
Tool service must be performed only by qualied repair personnel. 1. Service or
maintenance performed by unqualied personnel could result in a risk of injury.
When servicing a tool, use only identical replacement parts. Follow 2.
instructions in the “Inspection, Maintenance, And Cleaning” section of this
manual. Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow maintenance instructions
may create a risk of electric shock or injury.
SPECIFIC SAFETY WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and 5.
any other condition that may affect the tool’s operation. If damaged, have
the tool serviced before using. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained
tools.
Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your 6.
model. Accessories that may be suitable for one tool may become hazardous
when used on another tool.
WARNING! 1. Always wear ANSI-approved safety impact eye glasses under
a full face shield and a respirator when operating the Blast Cabinet. Also, wear
heavy duty work boots, long trousers, and long sleeve shirt.
Stay within air pressure capacity (50 ~ 125 PSI). 2. Never operate the Blast
Cabinet above 125 PSI.
Keep children away. 3. Children must never be allowed in the work area. Do not let
them handle equipment, tools, extension cords, or air hoses.
Store idle equipment. 4. When not in use, the Blast Cabinet must be stored in a
dry location to inhibit rust. Always lock up the machine and keep out of reach of
children.
Use the right tool for the job. 5. Do not attempt to force small equipment or
attachments to do the work of a larger industrial equipment and attachments.
There are certain applications for which this product was designed. It will do the
job better and more safely at the rate for which it was intended. Do not modify this
product, and do not use this product for a purpose for which it was not intended.
Dress properly. 6. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry as they can be caught in
moving parts. Protective, electrically non-conductive clothes and non-skid foot-
wear are recommended when working. Wear restrictive hair covering to contain
long hair.
Do not overreach. 7. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Do not reach
over or across running tools or air hoses.
