Press MENU, 2, ENTER to display the -PICTURE- functions.
PICTURE PROGRAM is for your preferred settings - contrast, color, etc.
PICTURE SETTING is used to improve the picture quality.
CONVERGENCE ADJ. is used to align the TV color picture tubes (red,
green, blue) to produce a clear picture.
• PICTURE PROGRAM
You can have two sets of preferred settings, PREFERENCE-A,
PREFERENCE-B or use the factory PRESET settings.
Press MENU, 2, ENTER, 1, ENTER to select the PICTURE PROGRAM.
Press the CURSOR buttons to select and make adjustments.
CONTR - Use this function to change the contrast between black and
white levels in the picture. This adjustment will only affect the picture
when the PICTURE SETTING AI is OFF. See page 34.
TINT - Use this function to adjust flesh tones so they appear natural.
COLOR - Use this function to adjust the level of color in the picture.
BRIGHT - Use this function to adjust overall picture brightness.
SHARP - Use this function to adjust the amount of fine detail in the
picture. This adjustment will only affect the picture when PICTURE
SETTING AI is OFF.
• PICTURE SETTINGS
Your Hitachi TV has a new AI (Artificial Intelligence) function which will
automatically adjust picture settings to produce the highest quality picture
possible.

Press MENU, 2, ENTER, 2, ENTER to display the PICTURE SETTING.
Use the CURSOR , to select function.
Press ENTER to turn function on or off.
