MULTI PICTURE
The Multi Picture function on this projection TV provides two modes, Split and P in P. To use the Multi
Picture function allows you to enjoy the programs easily and comfortably.
In normal picture mode, press the MULTI PIC. button to enter the Split or P in P mode.
ǏSplitǐ
Follow the steps on page 20 to enter the Function menu, then
select the Multi Picture option as shown on the right.
Press the ŻŹ cursor buttons to set Multi Picture option to
Split mode, then quit the menu.
ƽIn normal picture mode, press the MULTI PIC. button to
enter the Split mode as shown below. The picture A and B
will show two programs of two channels respectively.
ƽOnce you have entered the Split mode, press the A/B button
to select any one of the two pictures, a red symbol
will appear on the top of the selected picture, indicating:
˄1˅The speakers on this set output the sound from the
selected picture.
˄2˅The monitor out terminals output audio and video signals
from the selected picture.
˄3˅The operations such as program selection, etc. are valid
for the selected picture. However, the program No.
selected in one picture can not be the same as that in the
other one. Otherwise, the characters ! Not Available will
appear.
Notes˖
˄1˅When the RECALL button is pressed, the picture A and B will display their respective program No.
instantly, and the red symbol will appear on the top of the selected picture momentarily.
˄2˅If the HP Select option in the Function menu is set to B, the headphone terminal of side panel always
outputs the sound from the picture B. If the HP Select option in the Function menu is set to A/B, the
headphone terminal of side panel always outputs the sound from the selected picture.
ƽAfter accessing the Split mode, you can press the SWAP button to switch between the two pictures, ie, to
exchange the program sources in the picture A and B.
ƽIf the Freeze option in the Function menu is set to Still, while in the normal TV mode, pressing the FREEZE
button will enter the Split mode automatically. Picture A will display the current moving picture and picture B
will display a still picture frozen by pressing the FREEZE button. On this point, the MONITOR OUT
terminals output audio and video signals from picture A. Set the Freeze option in the Function menu to Strobe,
please see page 34 in detail.
ƽIn the Split mode, the POSITION button does not work.
ƽIn the Split mode, press the MULTI PIC. or the RETURN button to exit.
ƽIn the Split mode, you may enter the Audio menu by pressing the MENU button to make adjustment. While
entering other menus such as Picture, it will exit from the Split mode.
