¡Connect the DVD/VCR directly to a TV. If the A/V cables are connected to a VCR, pictures may be
distorted due to the copy protection system.
¡If your TV is compatible with progressive scanning (480p), connect the TV to the component video output
jacks of the DVD/VCR, and make sure INTERLACE/PROGRESSIVE SCAN SELECTOR is set to P.
¡When P(PROGRESSIVE)is selected at the INTERLACE/PROGRESSIVE SCAN SELECTOR, no video sig-
nal will be output from the VIDEO OUT or S-VIDEO OUT Jack.
