Occasion for use:
When a program you want to watch is going to be broadcast while you
are asleep, out, or otherwise engaged.
Operation
1 Select a channel to be recorded using the Channel Up/ Down or
Numeric keys on the remote control.
OR
To record an external source, press the Input button to select LINE Input.
"LINE" appears instead of the channel number if this position is selected.
2 Press the Standby button on the remote control.
The screen below will appear.
3 Continue to press the Standby button until the desired start time
appears on the TV screen.
Each press of the button will add 30 minutes to the displayed time. The
time can be set up to 11:30 PM of the next day.
4 Press the OTR button until the desired recording length is displayed.
To cancel a Standby OTR after one has been set, or is in progress:
Press the OTR button to select the Standby OTR display then press
the Clear button.
The screen below will appear and the Standby OTR will be cancelled.
A standby OTR can be initiated at the TV/VCR Combination by holding
down the Rec button and pressing the Channel Down key. Continue to
press the Channel Down key until the desired start time is obtained. The
recording length is set by holding down the Rec button and pressing the
Channel Up key until the desired length is displayed.
