START AUTO SETUP
Press the o button. If ‘Auto’ appears on the display panel, press OK (or E).
what will happen? The display panel on
the front of the VCR will show the word
‘Auto’. Do not press any button on the VCR or
the Remote Control.
note If you have connected both the RF cable
and the fully-wired 21-pin SCART cable, and if
your TV offers T-VLink, etc., and the TV is
turned on, the VCR automatically performs
the Preset Download (੬ pg. 12) even if you
select ‘Auto’ for Auto Setup function.
The VCR is automatically setting up the tuner channels and the video channel.
This only happens the first time that the VCR is turned on.
rf and scart connection If you have chosen
to connect the VCR to the TV with both the RF
Cable and a 21-pin SCART Cable (not provided)
and the TV set is in its AV mode (see the TV
manual), you will see the following information
displayed on your TV screen:
