Ⅵ Take care of the total SCSI cable length including the internal
and external SCSI cables. A malfunction may occur if the to-
tal length exceeds the following figure.
• SCSI-2, 20 Mbytes/s sync operation: 3 meters
(Up to 2 drives can be connected)
• SCSI-2, 10 Mbytes/s sync operation: 3 meters
• SCSI-2, 5 Mbytes/s async operation: 6 meters
* The length of the provided SCSI cable is 1 meter.
Ⅵ For the length recommendations for the SCSI cable stored
inside the CD/DVD Library, refer to "CONNECTING SCSI
CABLES AND POWER CORD" in the operation manual for
the CD/DVD Library.
Ⅵ Be sure to lock the SCSI connectors of the external SCSI
cables after being connected.
