DVD AUDIO is recorded with a maximum sampling
rate of 192 kHz and theoretically capable of
reproducing up to 96 kHz. As a result, the speakers
used may be damaged if they are not compatible with
high frequencies. When an ordinary speaker system is
connected, set the "Audio Filter" setting to "Filter
60 kHz" to protect the speakers. When the speaker in
use are compatible with high frequencies, set this
setting to "Filter 110 kHz". (For details, refer to the
instruction manuals provided with your speakers.)
At the factory, the player has been set to "Filter 60
kHz" to protect the speakers from damage.
