Picture format
AUTO
Press PICTURE SIZE repeatedly until
AUTO appears. See above Note.
The broadcaster may send the signal which can set the picture-width automatically. If a TV-Channel was
received with automatic picture-width setting signal, then the picture-width can be changed to
corresponding format automatically, when AUTO had been selected. If you do not like this automatic
picture-width changing, select the other format.
Manual format setting
Press PICTURE SIZE repeatedly as you want.
4:3
It shows a 4:3-picture in original size with black bands on left
and right side.
FULL SCREEN
:
It shows a 4:3-picture in full screen-mode.
Note:
A screen is distorted as you approach the both ends of a
screen.
16:9
It corresponds for 16:9-format which comes from e.g. DVD or
from a SatReceiver or DVB-T receiver.
Note: The built-in tuner can not receive 16:9-format.
CINEMA:
It corresponds for 4:3-format with which black bars on top and
bottom, e.g. the built-in tuner can receive it.
Note:
In CINEMA mode, the top of the picture are slightly cut off.
To see the cut part, scroll the picture (see page 26).
14:9:
It shows a 4:3 picture in 14:9-format.

Notes:
• The PICTURE SIZE feature is not
available in the PC mode.
• In HDMI mode, the PICTURE SIZE
