and turns the TV OFF.
GAME CONTROL/MPI
When the TV/EBL is in Pass-through Mode, the
MPI function enables an external MPI control
device (i.e., clone programmer, VOD/PPV STB,
etc.) to control the TV. Game Control—EBL in
LodgeNet PPV Mode only.
AUDIO/VIDEO IN
Connection for composite audio/
video output from external device.
SPEAKER OUT (8Ω)
Connect external audio (xed speaker
or variable speaker) equipment. See

* For specific applications, the RS-232 (DB9) port may be used to
provide +12v/1A external power (for example, to an external MPI
control device). In this case, Installer Menu item 118 POWER
SAVINGS must be set to 9—both the b-LAN module and the
GAME CONTROL/MPI port circuitry are always powered, and the
external power is provided on pin 9 of the RS-232 port.
