Chapter 6 Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Error Messages
This unit is provided with a self-diagnostic function that
detects internal abnormalities. When it detects an
abnormality, it outputs an error message to the monitor
screen and indicates an error code in the time counter
display.
Note
To display error messages on the monitor screen, connect
the monitor to the B−Y/CPST (SUPER) connector, and set
the CHARA. DISPLAY menu item (see page 61) to ON
(factory default setting).
If an error message appears, follow the direction indicated
on the monitor screen.
Alarm Messages
When operating this unit, the unit may sometimes output
alarm messages such as the one shown below to the
monitor screen and the time counter display.
If such an alarm message appears, a connection or
operation error may have been made, or condensation on
heads may have occurred. Follow the direction indicated
on the monitor screen.
Note
To display alarm messages on the monitor screen, it is
necessary for the monitor to be connected to the B−Y/
CPST (SUPER) connector, and set the following menu
items to ON.
• CHARA. DISPLAY (see page 61)
•ALARM (see page 62)
• REF ALARM (see page 62)
