-ACROS
The One For All SmartControl remote can condense multi-
step activities to a single keypress. These are called “macros”.
&OREXAMPLEYOUCOULDMAKETHEONDEMAND key perform
a series of steps when you’re finished watching a DVD: (1)
stop the DVD, (2) turn the DVD player off, and (3) turn your
TV off.
Note: A macro can contain up to 15 steps.
4OSETUPA-ACRO
1. Press and hold the SETUP key until the blue ring flashes
twice.
2. Press 9 9 5. The blue ring flashes twice.
3. 0RESSTHEKEYYOUWANTTOUSETOEXECUTETHEMACRO
&OREXAMPLEIFYOUWANTTHEONDEMAND key to trigger
the steps to stop a DVD, turn the DVD player off, and
turn off the TV, press the ONDEMAND key in this step.
4. Use the device select keys to highlight the device mode
for the first step in the macro.
&OREXAMPLEIFTHElRSTSTEPISTOSTOPA$6$HIGHLIGHT
DVD.
5. Press the key for the first command in the sequence.

(stop) key.
6. If there are more commands for this device, press the
KEYSFORTHENEXTCOMMANDS)FTHEREARENTGOTOSTEP

you stop the disc, press the
key.
When you’re finished with commands for this device, go
to step 7.
7. Use the device select keys to highlight the device mode

the TV, highlight TV.

key.
9. If there are more commands for this device, press the
KEYSFORTHENEXTCOMMANDS
If you’re finished with this macro, go to step 10.
If you want to use another device in this activity, repeat
steps 7 and 8.
10. Press and hold the SETUP key until the blue ring flashes
twice.
Congratulations! You have successfully programmed a macro.
Now when you press the key you designated as this macro
key, the remote will send the steps you programmed.
4OUSEAMACRO
1. Make sure the remote is pointed at the devices this
macro uses.
2. Press the key you designated for the macro.
Leave the remote pointed at the devices for several
seconds. The macro may take a few seconds to finish.
