If the video recorder is not used for several minutes, it
switches itself off automatically. If you want to use the video
recorder as a TV receiver, you can deactivate the automatic
switch-off as follows:

4 Complete the adjustment of automatic
switch-off with the

You can prevent unauthorised use of your video recorder with
this function. Once it is activated, the buttons on the front of the
set are locked. Previously entered programmes will of course be
recorded
2 To deactivate the child lock press the button

for a few seconds until u
disappears from the display

seconds, until the display shows u.The child
lock is now activated. Switch off the video
recorder with the Standby button

the remote control in a secure place
