Preparations
Precaution on battery use
Improper useof batteries canresult in aleakage of chemicalsand/or explosion. Besure to followthe instructions below.
Place batterieswith their terminalscorresponding to the(+) and (–)indications.
Different typesof batteries havedifferent characteristics.Do not mixbatteries of different types.
Do not mix old and new batteries. Mixing old and new batteries can shorten the life of new batteries and/or cause old batteries to leak
chemicals.
Remove batteries as soon as they are non-operable. Chemicals that leak from batteries can cause a rash. If chemical leakage is found,
wipe witha cloth.
The batteriessupplied with theproduct may havea shorter lifeexpectancy due tostorage conditions.
If theremote control isnot used foran extended periodof time, removethe batteries fromthe remote control.

Using the Remote Control
<Use the remote controlby pointing it towards theremote sensor window of theset. Objects between
the remotecontrol and sensorwindow may preventproper operation.
Cautions regarding use of remote control
<Do not expose the remote control to shock. In addition, do not expose the remote control to liquids,
and donot place inan area withhigh humidity.
<Do notinstall or placethe remote controlunder direct sunlight.The heatmay cause deformationof the unit.
<The remote control maynot work properly if the remote sensorwindow of the main unit isunder direct sunlight or strong lighting.In such a
case, changethe angle ofthe lighting orLCD TVset, or operatethe remote controlcloser to theremote sensor window.
Batteries for the Remote Control
If theremote control failsto operate theLCD TVfunctions, replace thebatteries in theremote control.
