IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
TO USE AC POWER SOURCE
Use the AC polarized line cord provided for operation on AC. Insert
the AC cord plug into a standard 120V 60Hz polarized AC outlet.
NOTES:
Never connect the AC line cord plug to other than the
specified
voltage (120V 60Hz). Use the attached power cord only.
If the polarized AC cord does not fit into a non-polarized AC
outlet, do not attempt to file or cut the blade. It is the user’s
responsibility to have an electrician replace the obsolete
outlet.
If you cause a static discharge when touching the unit and the
unit fails to function, simply unplug the unit from the AC
outlet and plug it back in. The unit should return to normal
operation.

Important Stand and Base Safety Information
Choose the location for your TV carefully. Place the TV on a stand or base that is of adequate size and strength
to prevent the TV from being accidentally tipped over, pushed off, or pulled off. This could cause personal
injury and/or damage to TV. Refer to the Important Safety Instructions on page 3 of this manual.
D. If the product does not operate normally by following the operating instructions. Adjust only those controls
that are covered by the operating instructions. Improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage
and will often require exten-sive work by a qualified technician to restore the product to its normal
operation.

functions —this indicates a need for service.
19 Replacement Parts When replacement parts are required, have the service technician verify that the
replacement parts he uses have the same safety characteristics as the original parts. Use of replacements
specified by the product manufacturer can prevent fire, electric shock, or other hazards.
20 Safety Check— Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service technician to
perform safety checks recommended by the manufacturer to determine that the product is in safe
operating condition.
