Toimprovetheproductperformanceinthesoftwareaspect,youmayupgradethefirmware.

Toupgradethefirmware,prepareaUSBmemorystickandfollowtheinstructionsbelow.

AttheSystemmenuunderSystemSetup,select"TESTMODE,"andthenpressENTER.

TheDVRrebootsitself,andthenenterstheDVRDIAGNOSTICSMENUautomatically,displaying

thescreenbelow.

PlugUSBdeviceintotheUSBport,createan"UPGRADE"folderintheUSBmemorystick,and

thencopyandpastethenewfirmwaretothefolder.Makesuretonamethefirmwarefolder

"UPGRADE".Otherwise,theDVRwillnotdownloadthefirmwarefromthememorystick.

AttheDVRDIAGNOSTICSMENU,selectUSBUPGRADE.Thefollowingscreendisplaysasthe

firmwareisautomaticallyupgraded.

Oncetheupgradeisfinished,theDVRautomaticallyrebootsitself.Afterareboot,theDVRenters

theDVRDIAGNOSTICSMENUagain.SelectBOOTAPPLICATIONintheDVRDIAGNOSTICSMENU.

TheDVRonceagainrebootsitself,andthenentersthenormalmonitoringscreen;thisindicates

thefirmwareupgradeissuccessfullyfinished.

⑦ Others:Theproductdoesnotsupportthefirmwareupgradeoverthenetworkbecauseitcarries

risksofcausingcriticalerrorstotheproduct,incaseitisdisconnectedfromthenetwork,dueto

thingssuchasconnectionerrors,whileupgrading.
