What the buttons do
When you know what the buttons do, your AllTouch Remote Control is
easy to use. See the drawing below.
All the button functions listed below represent factory setups. Buttons
that work only with an 8600
x
HCT are specified.
1 VCR Control VCR.
2 AUX Control CD player or
cable digital audio
receiver.
3 TV Control your TV.
4 CBL Control your home
terminal/HCT.
5 POWER Turn on and off your TV,
VCR, AUX, or home
terminal/HCT.
6 INFO While in all modes and
for home terminal or
HCT, display
information about
selected device (for
example, channel
name, number). For
HCT only while in cable
mode, also display the
title and description of
program you are
watching or of program
you have highlighted in
the viewing guide.
7 SELECT While in CBL mode,
choose items from the
on-screen menus. In
other modes, use to
enter channel number.
8 FAV While in CBL or TV
modes, surf from one
favorite channel to the
next.
