Settings and Adjustments
Audio Settings
The default settings are underlined.
Selects the jack type to output audio signals.
2-channel linear PCM signals are output at
48 kHz maximum from output jacks other
than the priority jacks.
To obtain the best possible surround sound,
set for the type of speakers you are using, and
their distance from your listening position,
then use the test tone to adjust the volume and
the balance of the speakers.
This setting is available when “Audio Output
Priority” is set to “Multi Channel Analogue.”
To set the speakers
1 Select “Speaker Settings” in “Audio
Settings,” and press .
2 Select “Size,” “Distance,” and press .
3 Select a setup item using V/v, and press
.
4 Select and adjust settings using V/v, and
then pressing .
Size
Selects the size of the speakers.

Surround
Surround Back
Audio Output Priority
HDMI Outputs audio signals from
the HDMI OUT jack.
Coaxial/
Optical
Outputs audio signals from
the DIGITAL OUT
(OPTICAL/COAXIAL)
jack.
Multi Channel
Analogue
Select this when connecting
an AV amplifier (receiver)
via the MULTI CHANNEL
OUTPUT jacks.
Stereo
Analogue
Outputs audio signals from
the AUDIO OUT (L/R)
jacks.
