Corrective actions
Disconnect the power cord. After about one minute,
reconnect the power cord. (p. 7)

Cause and/or corrective actions
Remove the DV connecting cable, and connect it
again.
If the power of the VCR is on for a long time, it
becomes warm, which is not malfunction.
Disconnect the connecting plug on the AC adaptor/
charger or the battery pack, then reconnect it in about
one minute. Turn the power on. If the functions still
do not work, press the RESET button at the bottom of
the VCR using a sharp-pointed object. (If you press
the RESET button, all the settings including the date
and time return to the factory setting.) (p. 82)
Self-diagnosis function was activated.
