Control
— PARENTAL SETUP
When you set the password for the first time,
be sure to set the parental control together.
Setting the password
– PASSWORD
1 Press SETUP, then press b or B button
repeatedly until “PARENTAL SETUP”
appears on the screen.

2 Press ENTER.
3 Press v or V button repeatedly to select
“PASSWORD”, then press ENTER.
4 Press ENTER again.
5 Press the number buttons to enter
“5370”.
The player is ready to accept a new
password.

6 Press the number buttons to enter a new
password.
7 Press the number buttons to enter the
password again to confirm.
8 Press ENTER.
9 Press SETUP to exit the Setup Menu.
Notes
• If you forget your registered password, enter
“5370”.
• If you enter the wrong password in OLD
PASSWORD, you cannot enter a new one in NEW
PASSWORD.
Selecting the Parental
Control mode on and off
– PARENTAL CONTROL
When the PARENTAL COTROL mode is set to
ON, the password is required to change the
playback limitation level.
1 Press SETUP.
2 Press b or B button repeatedly until
“PARENTAL SETUP” appears on the
screen.
3 Press ENTER.
4 Press v or V button repeatedly to select
“PARENTAL CONTROL”, then press
ENTER.
5 Press v or V button repeatedly to select
“ON” or “OFF”, then press ENTER.
6 Enter the password, and press ENTER.
7 Press SETUP to exit the Setup Menu.
The factory setting is “OFF.”
