Setting the Alarm Speed and
Duration
1 Press MENU until the SET UP 3 display appears
on the screen.
2 Press SHIFT
v
to move the flashing to ALARM
SPEED.
Alarm Recording
You can use a door switch or alarm sensor to trigger
alarm recording. You can make alarm recording in
recording mode, stop mode and power off mode with
the selected recording speed.

3 When the TAPE switch is set to T-120:
Set ALARM SPEED to 6H, 18H or NC by
pressing
DATA
‘/’.
6H: for recording in 6-hour mode
18H: for recording in 18-hour mode
NC: for recording at the same speed as before the
alarm was received.
When the TAPE switch is set to T-160:
Set ALARM SPEED to 8H, 24H or NC by
pressing
DATA
‘/’.
8H: for recording in 8-hour mode
24H: for recording in 24-hour mode
NC: for recording at the same speed as before the
alarm was received.-
4 Press SHIFT v to move the flashing to ALARM
DURATION.
5 Set ALARM DURATION to 20S, 40S, 1M, 2M,
3M, 5M, CC or TRIG by pressing DATA ‘/’.
20S/40S - 5M: for recording for 20 seconds, 40
seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 3 minutes or 5
minutes
CC: for recording as long as the alarm signal is
being input
TRIG: for recording from the alarm signal to the
next alarm signal.
